Quality Control Supervisor jobs in Wyoming
Quality Control Supervisor oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process. Being a Quality Control Supervisor recommends changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results. May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Supervisor, a level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Supervisor Quality Control
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Supervisor Quality Control to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Quality Control Department, ensuring that all analytical tests run are conducted in accordance with standard operating procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and overseeing the Quality Control Department operations.
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for analytical tests.
- Ensuring that analytical tests are conducted in compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Performing the testing and analysis of sample materials.
- Maintaining accurate records of analytical results.
- Tracking sample inventory.
- Supervising lab technicians.
- Investigating product discrepancies.
- Performing instrument qualification and validation.
- Ensuring safety and compliance guidelines are followed.
- Performing maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions and errors.
- Preparing reports on test results and quality control metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
- MUST work onsite 100% and move to the 2nd shift, 3:00 pm – 12:00 am, after a training period
- Flexible enough to relocate within 3-4 weeks of acceptance. We will pay for two months of temporary housing.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Quality Control, Analytical Testing, or related field.
- Experience with UV/Vis Spectroscopy, HPLC, FTIR, GPC, GC, and other analytical techniques.
- Experience in drug substances and formulation testing.
- Proficiency with computer systems and sample tracking software.
- Excellent knowledge of laboratory equipment and raw data handling/storage.
- Experience in analytical method validation and instrument qualification.
- Knowledge of government regulations related
- $95,000-$105,000 depending on experience
