The Director of Purchasing is responsible to work with the Supply Chain Partner on the daily execution of Supply Chain Management functions to deliver compelling cost, trade competency, capacity, and cultural alignment required for the assigned operating divisions and respective cost codes. The Director of Purchasing ensures that all Supply Chain business metrics and charters are met and that Value Creation strategies are fully executed. The Director of Purchasing ensures Value Leveraging principles, standards, and procedures are followed within department. The Director of Purchasing initiates and nurtures productive and positive defined trade relationships and works synergistically with the Supply Chain Partner and other departments to solve cross-functional issues.
