Provider Network Specialist coordinates and evaluates the contracts of a healthcare provider network. Participates in the negotiation of contracts and prepares reports and analysis of contract details and statistics. Being a Provider Network Specialist distributes contract information, status updates, and other information within the organization. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Provider Network Specialist typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Provider Network Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • LSSI has an immediate need for a Communication/ Network Field Engineer to support the THAAD program at Redstone Arsenal/Huntsville, AL.

    Job Description:

    • Candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise for tactical communications equipment/ networked systems in support of research, development, integration, and acquisition efforts.
    • Candidate must have ability to accept tasks and work independently to achieve completion of tasks
    • Candidate must have ability to learn new systems/communication equipment with little or no training.
    • Candidate will work with government and prime contractor teams to assess component integration approaches, monitor progress, and determine the most effective improvements to component integration strategy
    • Candidate must be able to travel both CONUS and OCONUS.


    Requirements

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


    Required Skills:

    • Ability to understand and decipher router configurations. Strong understanding in network and IP protocols, routing, and firewall solutions.
    • Ability to research, test and understand new communication equipment and provided organized thoughts and suggestions in reference to that equipment in a concise and easily understandable manner.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong understanding in tactical satcom and tactical radio operations.


    Desired Skills:

    • Strong Understanding of Tactical Communication Equipment
    • Ability to develop and train others.
    • Ability to develop testing of equipment/software.
    • Experience with Link-16 messaging.
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Network certification


    Required Clearance:

    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
