Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Part-time Sociology Professor – Continuous Pool

    Clark College is currently seeking to fill a part-time Sociology Professor position to teach 1-2 Introductory to Sociology courses per academic term.
     
    This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime, evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
    • Master's Degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field.
    • Experience teaching college level courses.
    • Ability to work well as a member of a team.
    • Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. 
    SALARY STATEMENT: Lecture hourly rate is $85.48
