We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with small municipalities to review and administer land use as well as comprehensive planning. This person should have a strong background in planning, specifically for municipalities in Washington State.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License with the ability to transfer to Washington within 6 months of hire date.
- Strong understanding of design and construction principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to positively impact communities through engineering solutions.
Essential Duties:
- Design and plan construction projects that have a positive impact on communities.
- Work closely with communities to understand their needs and develop appropriate solutions.
- Manage design team members.
- Oversee construction sites and ensure quality control.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage budgets and schedules while prioritizing community needs and benefits.
- Continuously seek ways to innovate and improve the impact of our projects on communities.
