This position will provide an excellent opportunity for self-motivated, flexible individuals who enjoy challenging and diverse job responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Responsible for supervising a processing production team.
- Maintain excellent quality, sanitation, safety and production standards for the shift’s operation.
- Communicate with team members from Sales and Operations to ensure product orders are being delivered on time and effectively.
- Make certain that sufficient supplies and resources are available to meet the production standards.
- Ensure availability of adequate supplies and materials needed to meet and exceed productivity standards.
- Manage this team of employees by keeping them accountable for results to obtain certain goals and objectives.
- Adherence to GMP, Safety, and all other plant policies.
- High school diploma or GED and 3 years experience in a food or beverage production plant in a supervisory role.
- BS. / BA, Degree preferred not required.
- 3 years or more experience supervising employees directly in a food production or beverage production environment.
- Strong preference to individuals who have worked in a refrigerated or climate-controlled environment and is monitored by the FDA.
- Ability to motivate and train people and monitor the safety & quality of the products produced and the safety of the employees managed.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish is a strong plus)
- Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
