Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain processes.
Duties:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system (WMS)
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall supply chain management
- Manage fleet operations, including maintenance, scheduling, and driver supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and distribution
- Familiarity with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
