We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Design Manager to be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of our handheld post driver and related tools product lines. This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. The Product Manager will provide cross-functional leadership and bridge organizational gaps between different functional groups, most often between engineering, marketing, sales, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create product strategy and business requirement for new features or products
· Responsible for product vision and continuous improvement of features and/or products
· Lead and obtain strategic buy-in from internal and external stakeholders
· Communicate key messages and engage with many diverse functional stakeholders through the product lifecycle
· Actively seek customer and market input and data as a source of product innovation
· Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during first roll-out and provide support when needed
· Responsible for continuous improvement of product post-commercialization
· Able to run test machines and conduct demonstrations for customers.
· Travel to and take part in product shows (~ 20%)
· Interact with customers to solve issues and learn about the products.
