Print Production Coordinator initiates requests for competitive bids and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Prepares estimates and cost analysis reports for internal budget approval. Being a Print Production Coordinator coordinates and prioritizes print production schedules and print specifications. Reviews all artwork and copy prior to delivery to printers for accuracy and formats. Additionally, Print Production Coordinator reviews and approves mock-ups and proofs, performs final quality assurance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Successful printing & marketing company seeking a part-time print and copy associate. This position offers flexible hours.
You will be performing digital printing, digital print production, and working directly with the Graphic Designer. Looking for a team player to print and get hands-on with Bindery and finishing.
The use of RIP Software or the FIERY Command Workstation is a plus.
- Experience handling customers in a professional manner
- Good time management skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to present company in a positive, professional, and supportive manner
- Printing experience on Canon, Konica Minolta, or Xerox digital presses (Preferred but can train)
- Experience with bindery and finishing (Preferred but can train)
- Graphic Design experience using InDesign is a plus
- Ability to meet deadlines
