Policy Change Supervisor supervises a group of insurance policy change technicians to ensure that policy changes and requests are carried out according to established guidelines. Determines action on changes for which a policyholder has applied, but which are not covered by policy provisions, and computes costs or allowances for policy changes. Being a Policy Change Supervisor contacts policy owners and field agents with pertinent information that may affect a policy change. Does not have underwriting approval. Additionally, Policy Change Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Policy Change Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. PRG is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate to carry out research assistant duties to help support our mission to produce rigorous research and evaluation that benefits people by improving programs and innovations that aim to improve social, behavioral, health, economic, and employment opportunities. This is a full-time, exempt position. The person hired will support two federally-funded studies of interventions designed to improve health outcomes and reduce risky sexual behaviors in adolescents. The person hired will be responsible for managing a consent tracking database, assisting study analysts with project management activities, coordination and preparation of materials for data collection, assisting with formatting web-surveys or other data collection instruments, conducting data entry, following up with study participants, and performing data quality assurance tasks. Periodic travel to local and out-of-state study sites to support consent and data collection activities may be required.

Hours: This is a full-time position. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Location: PRG’s New Orleans office at 8434 Oak Street.
Travel: This position requires some local and out-of-state travel. Reliable and consistent transportation is required. Travel and local mileage will be reimbursed.
