Plumber jobs in Nebraska
Plumber inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plumber works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Have two years of previous experience
Candidates who accept a job offer for this position would be expected to pass a Physical Capacity Profile (PCP) test. The PCP is a lift, pull, push test to measure candidate capabilities to complete the physical aspects of this position.
