    We are currently seeking a skilled and diligent #Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role requires active involvement in our bidding processes, from generating bidder interest to ensuring a smooth transition of awarded projects to project management.


    JOB OVERVIEW


    The primary responsibility of the Estimator is to manage the bidding process for assigned projects from start to finish by attending pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs, implementing bidding strategies, reviewing construction documents, communicating and coordinating work scopes with the owners and design team.


    The Estimator is also responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with vendors by generating interest and soliciting bids, evaluating and overseeing the bidding of projects, organizing and distributing the bid documents, and participating in the smooth transition of awarded projects to project management.


    QUALIFICATIONS


    • Must exhibit Codaray Construction’s Core Values (Integrity, Passion, Unity, Sustainability, Humility)
    • Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience preferred
    • Previous construction and/or crafts experience gained through internship or Co-op assignments desirable
    • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems, strong math skills
    • Advanced computer skills with experience in MS Office, ProEst, and Procore preferred
    • Ability to multitask
    • Excellent attention to detail with excellent verbal and written skills
    • Thorough knowledge of the estimating documents
    • Ability to work with minimum information and quickly develop an understanding of the owner/architect requirements
    • Thorough knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices
    • Outstanding leadership skills
    • Imaginative, innovative, and succinct approach to a project
