Pipeline Technician is responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of an oil or gas pipeline system. Troubleshoots, tests, maintains, and repairs pipeline equipment which may include valves, operators, and filtration systems. Being a Pipeline Technician performs periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipeline system. Completes maintenance records, service reports, and other required documents. Additionally, Pipeline Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Pipeline Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Summary:
The Maintenance Technician performs the preventive and reactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities include execution of PM schedules, repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates. This position generally requires the flexibility to work 40 hours per week, weekends as required and also fulfill on-call duties for repairs.
