Physician - Nephrology examines and diagnoses disorders and diseases of the kidneys. Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Being a Physician - Nephrology recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Additionally, Physician - Nephrology requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. Physician - Nephrology's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Pay Range $39-48 (in addition to various pay differentials)
Base pay $39-41 without previous dialysis nursing experience
Base pay $42-48 for experienced dialysis nurses. Experienced needed in all 4 dialysis modalities to start on the higher end of this range.
