Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners repairs percussion instruments, such as drums, cymbals, and xylophones. Removes drum tension rod screws and rods by hand or using drum key. Being a Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Percussion Instrument Repairers and Tuners is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting the Buyers to ensure materials required for production of Monarch products are acquired in the way that best supports the manufacturing Build Plan.

The duties and responsibilities of the Junior Buyer include, but are not limited to the following:
E: Evaluate Purchase Requests to ensure proper procedures are followed and documentation is in place.
E: Negotiate with vendors to meet requirements and to achieve supply objectives as may be required.
E: Enter and process Purchase Orders in our Sage ERP system.
E: Research and place purchase orders for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supply items
E: Research and place purchase orders for production tools and equipment, as well as for calibration of internal test and programming equipment
E: Communicate with suppliers for problem resolution and returns authorization in a highly responsive, pro-active and professional manner.
E: As directed, release work orders to satisfy build requirements within the monthly build plan.
E: Perform electronic inventory data transactions to maintain proper inventory accountability.
