**Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. **Duties:** - Process payroll for employees accurately and on time - Maintain payroll records and documentation - Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime - Address any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees - Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data - Assist in benefits administration related to payroll **Qualifications:** - Proficiency in financial software for payroll processing - Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles - Familiarity with tax regulations related to payroll - Experience in accounts receivable and technical accounting - Previous use of Ceridian, Workday, or similar payroll systems is a plus - Strong data entry skills for accurate record keeping - Familiarity with Paychex or similar payroll service providers This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and accuracy are highly valued.
