ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work closely with hiring management to understand their business, identifying recruitment strategies and providing recruitment and workforce planning services to meet the needs to hire talented and diverse candidates.
• Ensure a positive applicant and hiring manager experience throughout the hiring process which includes timely application follow up and interview status.
• Recruit passive and active candidates through a variety of creative recruitment technology strategies, tools and social platforms, utilizing cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
• Provide information about opportunities to applicants, emphasizing the award-winning organization.
• Partner and steward the experience with potential candidates in the prescreening, application, and contract process.
• Develop and implement recruitment plans for assigned departments and/or key jobs that identify sourcing activities, project recruitment costs and take into consideration other issues that impact ability to recruit and retain qualified staff including, but not limited to, compensation and other labor market issues.
• Facilitate redeployment and placement of displaced internal associates due to business growth and contract changes.
• Utilize appropriate hiring tools and resources to ensure organizational fit while processing applicants through designated ATS and CRM system.
• Ensures timely sourcing, screening and interviewing qualified candidates to meet client needs.
• Effectively communicate with others, influence opinions, and cultivate the decision of candidates to work in correctional healthcare.
• Meet with managers to develop, review, and discuss recruiting plans for their region or department.
• Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
• Perform initial employment screenings for work history and salary requirements.
• Maintain record of recruiting activities and candidate pipeline for follow up.
• Develop and maintain relationships in client communities where talent placement is necessary (e.g., colleges, universities, and hospitals, etc.).
• Measure and track talent acquisition effectiveness and the success of recruiting efforts.
• Assists hiring managers in scheduling interviews, creating exceptional applicant experiences, and arranging meetings.
• Monitor license verifications, associate references, jail clearances, background clearance, assessments, and reference checks for potential candidates.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date strategic planning manual with continuity BUS plan and goals.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RN with active nursing license in good standing.
• 3 years of clinical experience with demonstrated knowledge of recruitment practices.
• Exposure in correctional industry environment strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
