Troubleshoots network issues and develops appropriate solutions, resources, and deployment processes. Additionally, Network Engineer keeps informed of the latest technologies to enhance knowledge of networking hardware, software, and best practices. May be certified in vendor-specific products. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Network Engineer work is closely managed. We are offering an opportunity for a Network Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the telecom industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring firewalls, routers, building servers, and maintaining Microsoft servers. The role requires expertise in tools such as Barracuda network, Fortinet, Windows 10, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and cloud services.

Configuring firewalls and routers in the network Building virtual servers within the physical server Updating and maintaining Microsoft servers Working with Barracuda network and Fortinet systems Incorporating and adapting to Microsoft 365 and cloud services Utilizing skills such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies Applying knowledge of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management Designing and implementing Eigrp and Firewall Technologies.

Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Experience with Checkpoint technologies Knowledge of Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and other Cisco Technologies Understanding of Computer Hardware concepts and applications Familiarity with Configuration Management processes Experience in Design, preferably within a networking context Proficiency in Eigrp networking protocol Understanding and experience with Firewall Technologies Possess excellent problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Must be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience Relevant certifications in network engineering would be considered an advantage.
