    Role Overview

    The QC Administrator will focus on broad issues that govern loan quality at Mortgage Solutions. The QC Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily performance and productivity of the QC team. he QC Administrator must always exhibit a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, provide customer service to our internal and external customers, and focus on loan quality and compliance. This position will be responsible for various duties relating to quality audit and review of residential mortgage loan files to ensure accuracy of information and verify that the loan confirms to all company, investors, and regulatory standards. QC Auditor will also assist other auditors with pre-funding audit and other Quality Control department functions. Additionally, this position will be responsible for ensuring all QC activity reporting (pre-funding and post-closing) are prepared and delivered timely and in compliance with agency guidelines.

    Essential Duties

    • Supervise the daily performance of the QC Auditors.
    • The QC Administrator will be the first level of escalation for the QC matters, working directly with team members and business lines to resolve matters. As needed, the position will escalate complex issues to the QC Manager.
    • Represent the company as well as the QC department in a professional and enthusiastic manner
    • Ensure the pipeline is managed within priority guidelines and the staff is current on all incoming assignments.
    • Perform audits on residential mortgage loan files.
    • Identify issues that may result in the inability to sell a loan on the secondary market.
    • Communicate effectively and partner with operations staff to address any unresolved issues and elevate concerns to Quality Control Manager and/or their designee, of any potentially critical issues.
    • Document imaging in paperless system
    • Work directly with QC Manager to help clear findings for both pre-funding and post-closing audits in preparation for delivering a final report for each in compliance with agency guidelines.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly pre-funding and post-closing reports, ensuring they are completed in compliance with agency guidelines.
    • Send out reverification as needed for post-closing audits. Track progress to ensure that they are received or resubmitted timely. Record all activity as needed.
    • Maintain documentation to evidence the delivery of monthly QC reports to Management, including but not limited to opening jobs in LawVu (central project matter management system) and ensuring final copies of reports and communications to management are included in the record for audit purposes.
    • Update loans for HMDA reporting and perform independent testing of Loan Application Register fields as assigned.
    • Manage time efficiently and prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines while handling multiple tasks.
    • Must stay current on all agency, state, and federal guidelines, and participate in on-going training as the mortgage industry evolves. Escalation and educating staff and related business line on agency guideline changes, as applicable
    • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A minimum of 3-5 years mortgage experience preferred, preferably with auditing background or testing familiarity preferred.
    • Ability to supervise staff with daily work tasks.
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Proficiency with all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) knowledge of Byte Loan Origination System (LOS) and Enterprise is a plus.
    • Ability to adapt quickly to other information systems.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently.
    • Extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize projects.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to multitask in a fast pace and stressful environment.

    • Ability to follow directions and perform work accordingly.
    • Must be able to pass background check.

    Physical Requirements

    • Stationary position; prolonged periods at a desk and working on the computer.
