Full time Billing Clerk needed for our busy physician office in Danville, Kentucky
Job duties will include filing, insurance verification, billing insurance and balance billing patients, posting patient and insurance payments, insurance followup and answering billing phone calls. This position will also cross train at the front desk. Duties at the front desk include patient check in and patient check out, scheduling appointments, creating patient recalls, insurance verification, collecting patient copay and balances.
Qualifications Required: Strong written and verbal skills; self-motivated;organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task; knowledge of HIPAA standards; billing and insurance experience required.
Hours are primarily Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
