Media Relations Associate
Location : 100% Remote
Duration : 03 Months contract with possible extension
This position requires highly proficient organizational skills, familiarity with public relations, and interest in the energy industry.
Key responsibilities :
Track media opportunities
Maintain and expand internal metrics.
Use social and digital media tools.
Identify new media opportunities, especially focused on international, TV, and podcasts.
Organize media lists.
Assist in maintaining talking points.
Assist with staffing interviews.
Assist in maintaining relationships with media.
Education and Experience :
1-3 years of experience in the energy industry, media, or public relations field.
Knowledge of energy and environmental policy. Knowledge of the electric power industry is a plus.
Bachelors degree required or equivalent work experience.
