Job Summary:

Verify printed circuit board assemblies, (PCBAs), are built in accordance with the specified standards.

 Essential Functions:

• Utilize output from AOI equipment to assess conformity of PCBAs being built on the SMT line
• Identify manufacturing defects & program issues
• Accurately input defect data into the MES
• Perform simple repair of printed circuit board assemblies
• Perform modification work to circuit boards including trace cuts and adding jumpers
• Hand-solder SMT components per specifications
• Recommend changes in documentation to ensure high quality results
• Provide limited direction to PCB Assemblers

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree 2 years experience
• Ability to accurately perform visual inspection
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to perform detailed work for extended periods
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, drawings, and assembly instructions
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
• Ability to manipulate and work with small parts
