    We want extremely passionate, motivated, life-long learners to join our team. The production associate role is one of the most diverse roles that we have on our team. It allows individuals to learn the entire meat processing process from working with live animals all of the way through the finished, packaged meat. This role requires someone who has the previously mentioned traits in addition to loving to get their hands dirty.

    This role has a wide compensation band which correlates to your experience level. If you have no prior experience, we will teach you. If you have been doing this for 5 years, we will help you continue learning and honing your craft. This role is a direct feeder into the various other roles our company offers such as senior production associate, production supervisor, assistant plant manager, and plant manager!

    Responsibilities

    • Be customer eccentric serving them in the best possible manner in everything that you do.
    • Learn each of the different roles within our process over a period of a year and become proficient.
    • Work with live animals ensuring proper treatment and safety.
    • Work with the team to harvest the animals in a humane and ethical manner.
    • Process carcasses down to final cuts through cutting, trimming, and grinding the meat.
    • Ensure all meat follows quality standards and BOAH requirements.
    • Assist customers with loading of packaged goods.
    • Maintain clean and safe working area and equipment.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
    • Ability to work required hours.
    • Ability to stand for long periods.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR & DOT guidelines.
    • Must have reliable transportation throughout the workday.
    • Ability to legally work in the United States.
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
    • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
