Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. Creates, conveys brand messages and improves brand awareness. Being a Marketing Specialist develops sales presentations and provides reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing. May coordinate involvement in conferences, exhibitions and marketing seminars. Additionally, Marketing Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Marketing Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
• Support the global marketing director in formulating and executing comprehensive marketing plans for the company
• Assist in developing marketing strategies that will support the objectives of the company and its customers
• Conduct research and perform analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
• Help in the organization, management, and promotion of company events, including trade shows, conferences, and seminars
• Produce marketing content, ranging from social media posts to press releases
• Collaborate with the broader marketing team in the creation of compelling digital and print marketing content
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
• Have 2-3 years of work experience in marketing or a related field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to work under pressure
• Experience in market research, data analysis, and content creation
• Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to think outside of the box
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for marketing, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently
