Managerial Accountant jobs in Louisiana

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team and help manage our financial operations. Our ideal candidate must be able to analyze financial data, organize financial operations, and prepare financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis using various software and techniques to assist in decision making and other financial matters
• Analyze financial data to identify potential anomalies or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and books
• Prepare financial statements, reports and other documents related to financial operations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prepare invoices and process payments
• Provide support on freight audit and payment, and LTL and transportation management services
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
• At least 1 year of experience working in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, financial administration, and financial analysis
• Strong math skills to be able to analyze and solve financial problems
• Excellent decision making and communication skills
