Job Title: Loan Processor (On-site)
Location: Johnston, RI | Pay: 40/hr
Summary:
Responsible for preparing and reviewing documents for all loan types including mortgages, credit cards, and loans collateralize by securities.
Job Duties:- Assist with Processing, Closing and or Servicing, all loan types for Commercial and Business Banking.
- Enter data into various systems.
- Close document preparation, review and validation and research.
- Manage working within a work queue.
- Maintain communication with business partners and external customers via phone or email.
- Prepare and review documents for loans.
- Update rate changes on various loan systems.
- Create new loan checklists.
- Perform Account maintenance on various systems.
- Track Vehicle Title.
- Maintain insurance tracking reports.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly billing.
- Communicate with applicants, clients, staff and third parties (attorney, closing agents, vendors) to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Create mortgage loan documentation on Laser Pro.
- Prepare daily control agreement and watch list reports.
- Prepare and monitor daily collateral analysis reports.
- Reconcile daily loan transaction.
- Research GL outages.
- Recovery payment tracking.
- Process non-post items.
- Associate degree or equivalent operations or loan processing experience.
- 5-7 years credit card, mortgage, and security loan processing experience.
- Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation.
- Strong knowledge of lending compliance regulations (Reg. Z, RESPA, Truth in Lending, Reg. B, HMDA).
- Knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Visio, etc.).
