Light Assembler jobs in Vermont
Light Assembler assembles fabricated parts of small or light subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking a Production Worker to join our team! Our company strives to create innovative products and we're looking for the right individual to join us in our quest.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machines to manufacture parts.
- Perform routine production duties.
- Know the machinery in own department and learn how to operate new machines as part of job training.
- Maintain tools, parts, and machinery.
- Clean and organize own work space as well as assigned outdoor areas.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires and spills.
