Currently, we are seeking individuals for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst opportunity with our client in Cleveland, Ohio. This opportunity is 100% remote! Candidate MUST reside in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of related work experience testing within a Snowflake platform.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with appropriate testing techniques/methods to test complex business and technical requirements (i.e. Black box testing, functional testing, regression testing, API testing using Postman or Swagger, acceptance testing, front end and backend testing).
• In-depth knowledge of using software packages or tools for processing or displaying data (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL Queries)
• Knowledge of Lean management system routines.
• Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis and testing review discussions.
• Determines scope and focus of testing effort and creates Test Strategy and risk analysis to guide testing efforts.
• Prepares test tools, automation and environment assets to support testing effort.
• Creates, uses and maintains automated scripts to increase efficiencies in testing, including troubleshooting problems with scripts.
• Tests systems or system components utilizing black box testing methods.
• Validates the function of system under test and observes results from various external and internal interfaces.
• Gathers test activity information during execution and prepares summarized information about the testing effort.
• Maintains assigned test assets and recognizes gaps in current test assets, identifying ways to create needed assets.
• Extensive knowledge and application of software QA industry practices, techniques and tools (e.g. manual testing, risk based testing, querying SQL databases, gap analysis, API testing approaches, Azure DevOps, DB2).
• Experience in identifying opportunities to apply automated testing to drive efficiency and enhance testability.
• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces
• Knowledge of using software packages or tools for processing or displaying data (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL Queries).

Required Skills:

• SQL Query knowledge
• Proof of Data Quality experience
• Snowflake & SnowSQL experience
• Data quality compare/analysis using tools like Alteryx & SnowSQL for balancing amounts/values
• Excel compares on large data sets
