As our Production Supervisor, you will help the Operations Teams by ensuring products are built and shipped per schedule and established standards of work. You will be responsible for positive staff leadership and maintaining accountability on the production floor where we make products that help control and monitor one of the world’s most valuable and limited resources– Water! This position works in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.
The job:
Every day, your primary role as a working supervisor will be to organize and manage the daily output of products to ensure customer demand is met. You will exhibit positive leadership, fostering support for corporate unity, and ensure the department meets its production objectives. You will be expected to assist your team in troubleshooting problems as they arise. You will be expected to collaborate with other departments, shifts, supervisors, and assembly personnel.
The skills you need:
To succeed in this role, you must have experience positively leading a team and possess effective communication skills. You should have experience training and coaching employees. You need to be organized, self-motivated, and be able to handle multiple interruptions throughout your day. You must have a high school diploma or GED and have 1-2 years of experience leading people.
