Type: Part-time, 20 hrs per week, opportunity for full-time

Pay: $25-35/hr DOQ

Location: Hybrid 2-3 days/week in Wimberley design studio 1-2 days from home

Excel at communication. Get along with others and are skilled at building relationships. Have a deep understanding of current market, industry changes, best practices, and design trends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 yrs experience with a residential interior design firm focused on high end projects, including custom home builds, remodeling, and furnishings and decor.

Proficiency in creating renderings and construction documents.

Must have portfolio of previous work.

Must be able to own a client project from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Measure and produce as-built computer drawings.

Interpret and translate customer needs into plans, including furniture space planning, floor plans, demo plans, electrical plans and interior elevations.

Research and select materials. Obtain and review quotes for pricing and accuracy.

Source furniture, create tear sheets, obtain pricing for items.

Create mood boards and design presentations for clients in Canva.

Compiling 'care for' instructions, warranty information, specs and other product information for all materials and furnishings selected for clients.

Place, track and manage the receiving of items ordered for projects.

Serve as the primary contact for clients, builders and trades.
