Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor supervises the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor schedules and coordinates installation support and service operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Description & Responsibilities
Lead crews for office furniture and cubicle Installation projects from start to completion.
Must be capable of installing all types of free-standing furniture and cubicle/modular systems. - Architectural/floor-to-ceiling wall experience is a plus.
In this position, you will lead crews and manage projects from start to finish.
Possess good communication and customer service skills.
Can take direction well; must be detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Periodically, we will have out-of-town travel opportunities which require overnight stays.
o Travel expenses will be covered by the company – Per diem, mileage, and hotel stays.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience installing and handling onsite logistics/crew for projects.
Working knowledge/experience with basic hand tools and drill/screw gun.
Supply your own set of tools.
Driver’s License
High School degree or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
