Inside Sales Representative jobs in District of Columbia

Inside Sales Representative is responsible for an assigned territory or portfolio of customers to target for remote sales development calls. Coordinates with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. Being an Inside Sales Representative reaches out to customers to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Representative develops connections with customers and may conduct field visits. May participate in sales efforts as part of a larger team. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Inside Sales Representative work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Job Details

    Responsibilities :

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
    • Conduct outbound sales calls and emails to generate new business opportunities
    • Prepare and deliver quotes to clients in a timely and accurate manner
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide clients with the best possible solutions
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction
    • Meet or exceed sales targets on a monthly basis

    Qualifications :

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology sales, inside sales, quote preparation, Palo Alto, network, and security
    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of engineering industry and products is a plus
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
