Information Technology Manager manages the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Administers internal procedures and guidelines to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks. Develops detailed documentation of methodologies, processes, and specifications of an organization's IT systems and assists with the planning of the organization's IT roadmap. Plans and implements an organization's network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks and monitors network performance. Allocates resources and oversees departmental budget to support and manage IT projects through the entire lifecycle. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director.
