Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator jobs in North Dakota

Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator drives gasoline or diesel powered tractors to move materials and tow trailers. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and must be licensed to operate a industrial truck/tractor. Being an Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator also requires 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Industrial Truck and Tractor Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Pump Truck Operator
  • ICS, Inc (Industrial Contract Services)
  • Grand Forks, ND FULL_TIME
  • General Purpose: Responsible for operating concrete pump truck to place concrete on ICS, Inc. projects, and for other clients as scheduled.

    Work Schedule: Days and hours vary depending on the assigned project.

    Responsibilities & Duties

    • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
    • Operate levers to raise, lower and rotate the boom and extend, retract, raise and lower outriggers
    • Raise, lower and rotate boom by sight or according to signals from a helper
    • Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times
    • Perform daily inspections of concrete pump truck
    • Monitor weather conditions and site conditions
    • Clean, maintain and lubricate equipment
    • Obtain any required permits
    • Pump truck operator should be responsible at all times when operating a concrete pump truck
    • Concrete pump truck operator should be versatile and have a cooperative attitude as they may be asked to do other jobs on construction sites when they are not operating their pump truck
    • Maintain a professional appearance
    • Other duties as assigned by Superintendent

    Required Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent GED.

    Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications

    • Valid commercial driver s license to operate class A motor vehicles.
    • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
    • Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s, ability to perform these operations using unit weight measurements and volumes.
    • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
    • Workers should be able to work within precise standards of accuracy and follow set procedures and standards
