Import Coordination Manager jobs in Vermont

Concept2, the market-leading manufacturer of stationary fitness ergometers and composite racing oars, seeks an Import / Export Compliance Program Leader to join the Supply Chain Management and Global Sales teams. The position is based at our Morrisville, VT headquarters. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

• Ensuring Concept2 is compliant with all applicable US Customs and Border Protection laws and regulations, and those of any other federal agencies governing the importation and exportation of merchandise to and from the United States. 
• Operating, auditing, and enhancing Concept2’s import and export compliance programs, policies, and procedures. 
• Maintaining written import and export compliance manuals.   
• Collaborating with our five international subsidiaries on various import and export compliance topics specific to their markets.  
• Supporting our international sales and marketing team on compliance issues as needed.  
• Liaising with outside attorneys, consultants, customs brokers, and US CBP (Customs and Border Protection). 
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to develop policies and procedures and provide periodic compliance training. 
  
  

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 5 years of import compliance, export compliance, supply chain management, or similar experience. Preferred qualifications include holding a customs broker’s license, experience in a manufacturing environment, experience working for or with US Customs and Border Protection, and/or a BS/master's in business administration or international business.
