Overview:
We are seeking a Full Time Venue Maintenance Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our venue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge, industrial maintenance, and facilities management.
Responsibilities:
1. **Maintenance and Repairs**: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE & be able to PERFORM routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairs. Ensure all event spaces, restrooms, and common areas are in good working order.
2. **Event Setup and Teardown**: Assist with the setup and teardown of events, which can include arranging furniture, moving equipment, setting-up stages. Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
3. **Safety and Compliance**: Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and address any hazards. This includes checking fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and ensuring pathways are clear.
4. **General Cleaning of Property** Ensuring the property looks pristine. Work with existing lawn care company on scheduling services & managing & enhancing all landscaping.
5. **Inventory Management**: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that everything is well-stocked and in good condition. Order new supplies as needed.
6. **Support Services**: Provide support to event staff and clients, addressing any issues that arise during events. This may involve troubleshooting equipment failures or addressing facility-related concerns.
7. **Preventive Maintenance**: Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of assets.
8. **Documentation**: Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inspections conducted. Report on the condition of the facility and any major issues that need attention.
9. **Coordination with Vendors**: Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance work that goes beyond the handyman's expertise.
10. **Emergency Response**: Be on-call to handle emergencies that may arise during events, such as power outages, plumbing issues, or urgent repairs.
