Help Desk Supervisor supervises the staff and the day-to-day operations of an organization's technical help desk. Supports and coaches team members on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. Being a Help Desk Supervisor trains the team on the help desk systems, processes, tools, and procedures required to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. Ensures the latest product/technical updates and policies are available and communicated to the team. Additionally, Help Desk Supervisor monitors request queue and tracks key metrics to ensure sufficient coverage and achievement of service standards. Identifies system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiency. Acts as the escalation point for critical issues and facilitates a final resolution. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Help Desk Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Help Desk Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     We are currently seeking an experienced Care Supervisor to oversee and ensure the successful implementation of all provided services for our clients within their assigned areas. The Care Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that client care plans meet client needs and that caregivers provide an exemplary level of care that meets the vision, mission and values of our organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. 
    • Handle the discipline and termination of employees, as needed and in accordance with company policy.
    • Manage a caseload of clients including staffing, scheduling and operations and administration.
    • Schedule and staff field staff to care for clients.
    • Evaluate and monitor the quality of services delivered to clients and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Collect and analyze client satisfaction data in order to implement improvements that positively impact the continuum of care for clients.
    • Develop strong and lasting relationships with referral sources and community resources.
    • Manage a caseload of clients including staffing, scheduling and operations and administration
    • Maintains positive working relationships with clients, home care aides, referral sources, managers and branch managers
    • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as with company policies and procedures

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • At least 18 years of age
    • Valid driver's license, along with access to an insured and reliable vehicle
    • At least 1 year of professional experience preferred
    • Professional oral and written communication skills 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess situations and make accurate observations in the workplace
    • Ability to plan and oversee department operations and develop and implement comprehensive programs and services to improve utilization and the quality of services
    • Ability to collaborate with staff and managers to facilitate improvement and change
    • Organizational and analytical skills, along with the ability to oversee and organize the work of others
    • Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude
