Head of Housekeeping jobs in Maine

The Barron Center campus is seeking an individual to join our housekeeping team. This person will provide general cleaning duties to include damp dusting, dry/wet mopping, and bathroom cleaning at a 219-bed long-term care facility.

Hours:

This is a full time position (37.5 hrs.). Starting hourly rate range is $15.00-$19.43 based on previous experience. Additional stipend of $2 per hour will be paid for the weekend hours. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Interest in working with elderly residents
• A positive attitude
• Must be able to lift objects weighing over 50 lbs
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and tidiness in various areas
• Ability to use high/low speed floor cleaning equipment associated with floor refinishing and buffing.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment medical exam and fitness assessment.
• Good work references
• Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check
