Job Overview
1. **Preparation and Setup:** - Assist in preparing the work area by cleaning and leveling surfaces. - Gather and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for the tile installation. - Assist in measuring and marking surfaces to guide the tile layout.
2. **Tile Installation Support:** - Cut tiles to specified sizes and shapes using hand and power tools. - Assist in mixing and applying adhesive, mortar, or other materials. - Help place and align tiles according to design specifications.
3. **Grouting and Finishing:** - Mix grout to the correct consistency. - Apply grout between tiles, ensuring even application and filling all gaps. - Clean excess grout from the tile surface using appropriate tools and techniques. - Polish and finish tiled surfaces to achieve a smooth and professional look.
4. **Clean-Up and Maintenance:** - Clean and maintain tools and equipment after each use. - Dispose of waste materials properly. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
5. **Safety and Compliance:** - Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear. - Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations. - Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
**Experience:** Previous experience in tile installation, grouting, or a related construction field is preferred.
