```Duties```
- Assist in the setup and takedown of drilling rig equipment
- Operate heavy equipment, such as derricks, to lift and move drilling pipes and other materials
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of drilling tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Monitor drilling operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

```Experience```
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as tankers and rigs
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
- Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques is beneficial
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks

As a Derrick Hand, you will play a crucial role in the drilling process by assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling rig equipment. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals to ensure the safe and efficient completion of drilling operations.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with experience operating heavy equipment such as tankers and rigs. Commercial driving experience is also beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques and mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks will contribute to your success.

Your duties will include assisting in the setup and takedown of drilling rig equipment, operating heavy machinery to lift and move materials, assembling and disassembling drilling tools, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

This position requires a high level of physical fitness, as it involves working in demanding outdoor conditions. You must be able to follow instructions carefully, work well within a team environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Other:

• $120 per diem when working on a qualifying rig job
• $1 pay raise for the first 3 years of employment
• We have 5 day work week or 2 weeks on and 1 week off rotations with work housing available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.50 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
