Golf Greenskeeper performs various golf course maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, and edging. Lays sod, plants trees, and seeds turf. Being a Golf Greenskeeper repairs ball marks on greens, tees and fairway divots. Maintains bunkers and sand traps, changes holes, and performs other general maintenance activities. Additionally, Golf Greenskeeper may be responsible for the upkeep and fueling of golf course maintenance equipment. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Golf Greenskeeper works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to: Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for the restaurant, banquet hall, Triple Tee and club cart Responsible for the set up and break down of all bar stations and club carts Assists with arranging the room and setting up tables for special events, as needed Uses JONAS and Micros systems for tending transactions for guests and servers Secondary Duties and Responsibilities: Up-sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities Serves food to guests and patrons, as needed Maintains a clean and sanitary work area Minimum Education and Qualifications: One year of Bartender experience or two years of Bar Back experience in a high volume, fast paced food and beverage or casino environment Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Intermediate knowledge of spirits, beers, wines and beverage service techniques Training Requirements: Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures Must maintain S.M.A.R.T or T.I.P.S. certification Physical Demands and Work Environment: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
