Summary :

Under general supervision, Lift Truck Operator (LTO) will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of our products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to sit down and stand-up forklifts, pole, pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment.

Essential Functions :

• Lead all components of safety, health, and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a close team environment, not only with his / her department but also with any other department.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and / or manager and / or Human Resources
• Pay attention to details
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Helps other employee to accomplish their daily task - Training
• Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipment
• Comply with OSHA standards
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
• Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• Efficiently stack and safely store the merchandise in the designated area
• This position will require flexible working hours, including overtime, and help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.
• Assist in keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner.
• Any other duties requested by supervisor.
