Duties:
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Handle cash and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and make sure they are not intoxicated
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Familiarity with food service procedures
- Proficiency in using a cash register
- Strong customer service skills to engage with patrons effectively
- Understanding of food safety guidelines for handling beverages and snacks
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is a plus
