Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Friday- 8am-3:30pm

    Job Responsibilities

    • Office daily deposits
    • Entering day sheet daily
    • Verifying credit card transactions
    • Generating checks for office bills
    • Managing QuickBooks account
    • Bank Statements
    • Generate checks for incoming bills
    • Manage insurance receivables
    • Post EFT payments for VSP and incoming mail & fax payments
    • Assisting with incoming phone calls for billing
    • Assist in explaining invoices to patients

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
    • Experience with QuickBooks (Preferred)
    • Medical office experience (Preferred)
    • Cash handling experience
    • Math skills
    • Experience with computers
    • Phone etiquette
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Reliable
