Environmental Services Coordinator coordinates and maintains company policies adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Inspects the work areas and work procedures and makes environmental, health and safety recommendations accordingly. Being an Environmental Services Coordinator maintains and updates environmental policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with and trains employees on all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Additionally, Environmental Services Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an Environmental Services Coordinator typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
• Cleans designated areas (walls, windows, doors etc.) following facility specific processes.
• Damp mop, refinishes, polishes flooring surfaces as appropriate using proper equipment and procedures.
• Vacuums carpet and upholstered furniture using proper equipment and procedures.
Cleans, checks, and refills supply dispensers as needed. (paper towels,
toilet tissue, soap, sanitary napkin, sanitary seat covers, odor
control, etc.).
• Empties trash receptacles following proper procedures.
• Responds to general cleaning needs.
• Follows directions of caution / warning labels on chemical supplies.
Complies with company and department safety policies and procedures.
Follows proper utilization of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Supports and participates in changes affecting the company and the department.
• Is willing to be flexible with hours.
• Breaking down cardboard.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF CLEANERS:

• Routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds
Job Type: Full-time/Part Time
Salary: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour.
