Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to drive revenue growth and manage sales efforts within the public safety market, with a particular focus on dispatch services. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading a high-energy sales team, and expanding Xybix's presence in critical command environments.
Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to drive exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the public safety industry.
Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to expand Xybix's presence within the public safety sector.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to optimize sales strategies and enhance customer experience.
Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate insightful reports for senior leadership.
Directly responsible for the company’s revenue in the assigned channel/region, including dispatch channel development, launch, management, and growth.
Develop and execute sales plans and market strategies for dispatch, federal, and general industry channels.
Efficiently oversee and manage the team of sales professionals in these channels.
Provide accurate competitive market analysis to company leadership and customer feedback on Xybix products and services.
Minimum of 7 years of sales or professional experience in comparable industries, with at least 4 years in a senior or sales management position.
Proven track record of success in consultative sales, preferably within the public safety or related industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
Passion for improving public safety and enhancing the lives of professionals in critical command environments.
