Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center (GIEC), a GI Ambulatory Surgical Center in Chalfont, PA, has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Endoscopy Technician to join the team!
This role offers a full time schedule of four (4) ten (10) hour days Monday – Friday with a rotating day off per week. Or part time schedule of three (3) ten (10) hour days Mon, Tue and Thurs. Hours are from 7:00am - 5:30pm. Saturday and Sunday the center is not open. No night, holiday or weekend hours!

What you will be working on:
· Assist physicians in endoscopic procedures under the supervision of the physician
· Setting up &/or breaking down patient procedure rooms
· Assisting clinical team in delivering high quality professional care while achieving optimal patient satisfaction
· Decontamination and reprocessing of endoscopic equipment
· The care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment and other patient care equipment
· Assisting the registered nurse, as directed, in the patient admission, recovery, and / or discharge process as necessary.
What you’ll know:
· A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· BLS Certification is Required
· GI experience preferred, preferably in an ASC or GI Suite
· Endoscopy or Surgical Technician experience Required
· Experience with endoscope/equipment reprocessing.
· Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology.
· Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
· Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism
