Electromechanical Technician fabricates, tests, analyzes, and adjusts precision electromechanical instruments. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Electromechanical Technician may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electromechanical Technician relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Measure, cut and count raw materials Use small hand tools to pin, plug in and attach connectors to wire Read prints, BOM’s and written instructions on process sheets (in English) Follow verbal and written instructions (in English) to assemble custom cable assemblies Work 40 hours per week Monday Friday.
