Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager. The Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for project coordination, construction project management, budgeting, construction management, and project management. They will oversee the day-to-day tasks associated with construction projects in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area.

Qualifications:

• Project Coordination, Construction Project Management, and Construction Management skills
• Budgeting and Project Management skills -

· Prepare detailed estimates/proposals and/or budgets based on project bid drawings and scopes of work

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus
• On-Screen Takeoff/Quickbid Proficiency (required)
• Commercial Drywall scope knowledge - metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, DFH, selective demolition, etc…
• Experience in the DMV Market (2 years minimum)
• Read, analyze and interpret project drawings and specifications
• Highly Motivated and teachable attitude; A strong desire to learn and grow
• A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Able to multitask, prioritize work and work well under pressure
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Maintain project schedules and budgets
• Prepare change orders and invoices
• Oversee project foremen, daily communication to maintain a smooth project development
• Order project material
• Fluent in English. Spanish speaking is a plus
• Professional appearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
