Drilling Engineer jobs in Vermont

Drilling Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Performs design evaluations and recommends alterations to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Being a Drilling Engineer may conduct risk assessment and cost estimation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Drilling Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to supervisor or manager.     Knowledge and experience of trenchless methods of construction (directional drilling, auger boring, pipe ramming, guided boring, pipe bursting and tunneling) are a plus.

    • Location: Williston, VT with assignments throughout New England and New York
    • Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience

    • Working Hrs: 45 to 55 hours per week typical
